How I Made A Million Dollars Overnight Blogging

Just buy this program and I will show you how you can do it too!

Is anyone else as tired of this sales pitch as I am? Does it really make you want to buy whatever it is they’re selling – or does it make you feel like a complete and total loser because you haven’t been able achieve the same level of success?

Call me old fashioned, but I honestly think that 99% of internet business takes time, energy, and lots of nurturing to be able to  turn a consistent and reliable profit. Don’t get me wrong – I am sure that some people actually have achieved this kind of instant success but it is not the norm.

Yesterday I was listening to an interview of Michael Martine of Remarkablogger (conducted by Maren Kate of Escapingthe9to5.com). Pretty interesting stuff – Michael has acheived a high level of success on the internet and Maren’s entrepreneurial drive is very impressive, considering that she is the ripe old age of 25.

There were a few things right near the beginning of the interview that really hit home for me.

Michael said that he thinks that anyone can achieve success with an internet business. However, not everyone will. This is because there are two types of people – those that recognize an opportunity and run with it, and those that don’t. Some people, he said (and I paraphrase) can be given every opportunity and still produce nothing.

Why is this? Are these people just stupid? I don’t think so.

Not only does it take hard work to succeed – but it also takes a certain mindset. It means jumping on opportunities, trying different things, not being shy. It means recognizing when something isn’t working and having the courage to leave it behind. Michael, also started along a few different paths and abandoned a few different sites along the path to where he is today.

So, when someone comes knocking, telling you that they can show you the road to riches – they’ve been there and done that – take it with a grain of salt. Every business owner’s personality is different and every internet business is different. What works for one may not work for another. There is no magic formula. Other people can teach from their own experiences but it is up to each individual to implement the strategies in ways that make sense for their own particular venture.

If I purchased this tutorial, it would probably be on my shelf right next to the one promising I can lose 30 pounds in 30 days.

That’s what it comes down to – empty promises.
